Accommodation
If this is your first visit to Cairo we advise our students to use our airport meeting and hotel booking service. It is best to stay in a hotel for the first few nights. Upon arrival, Drayah’s staff will help you locate a flat or a room in a shared apartment close by in our neighborhood (This service is free of charge).
Flats
- A shared room in a flat is 120 U$ per month
- A 2 bedroom flat is 500 U$ - 575 U$ per month
- A 3 bedroom flat is 575 U$ - 700 U$ per month
These apartments are fully furnished including TV, telephone, fridge, stove, washing machine and air condition. Please note that these prices are excluding bills (water, electricity, phone) which may be around u $ 30-40 per month. All prices are liable to changes according to the different seasons.
Cost of living
Cairo has long been a popular destination for foreign language study because of its relatively cheap cost of living. In addition to our extremely affordable course rates, students will find themselves capable of feeding themselves for less than 15 US$ a day. Transportation is readily accessible in a number of means: Taxi, subway/Metro, Bus and micro-buses, comparatively cheap by western standards.
