Youth Scholarship Program (YSP)Inspired by the goodwill of Eric and Michelle Plantenburg, Drayah has found a way to reach out to Cairo's orphans and other disadvantaged youth, helping to make a difference in the lives of those who need real support.
The Youth Scholarship Program seeks to increase employment opportunities for Cairo's orphans and other disadvantaged youth, ages 7 to 14, by providing scholarships to enable them to attend English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. Proficiency in this language can greatly improve the youth's position to compete in the labor market.
The idea of the program belongs to the Plantenburg family, students of Arabic at Drayah in the Fall of 2005.
SO, THANKS TO THEM, THANKS TO LOVE & LIGHT
